Electrical Services for Fleets

The electrical system powers many of the components your fleet vehicles depend on every day, from starting the engine and charging the battery to operating the lighting, ignition, and onboard electronics. Because these systems are closely connected, even a minor electrical issue can affect vehicle performance, reliability, or safety. At Auto Car Care Center, we provide comprehensive electrical system inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to help identify problems early and keep your fleet vehicles running dependably with minimal downtime.

Our Electrical Repair & Maintenance Services Include

Batteries & Cables
The battery and battery cables provide the electrical power needed to start your fleet vehicle and operate its electrical systems. Over time, batteries naturally lose their ability to hold a charge, while battery cables can develop corrosion or loose connections that restrict the flow of electricity.

Common signs of battery or cable problems include slow engine cranking, dim lights, intermittent electrical issues, or difficulty starting the vehicle. Routine battery testing and cable inspections can help identify problems before they leave a vehicle unable to start.

Breakers & Fuses
Fuses and circuit breakers help protect your vehicle's electrical system by preventing excessive electrical current from damaging sensitive components. When a fuse blows or a circuit breaker fails, it is often a sign that the electrical system has experienced an overload or another underlying issue. We carry an assortment of breakers and fuses for your vehicle's needs. To find out more about the breakers and fuses we carry please give us a call.

Lights
Properly functioning exterior and interior lighting helps drivers see the road clearly while making fleet vehicles more visible to other motorists. Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, and marker lights all play an important role in safe vehicle operation, especially during nighttime driving or poor weather conditions. At Auto Car Care Center we make sure all your lights are functioning as intended.

Spark Plugs
Spark plugs are responsible for igniting the air-fuel mixture in gasoline-powered engines, allowing the engine to run efficiently and produce consistent power. As spark plugs wear, the spark becomes less effective, which can affect engine performance and fuel economy. Let us help your fleet! We enjoy helping our customers with all of their electrical needs. For all your questions call us at 817-332-8243.

Starters & Alternators
The starter and alternator work together to keep your fleet vehicles running reliably. The starter uses battery power to crank the engine during startup, while the alternator generates electricity to recharge the battery and power the vehicle's electrical systems once the engine is running. Signs of starter or alternator problems can include slow or failed starts, dim headlights, battery warning lights, or a battery that repeatedly loses its charge. Prompt diagnosis can help prevent unexpected breakdowns and reduce the risk of electrical system failures. We inspect, test, repair, and replace starters and alternators for a variety of fleet vehicles..

Wiring & Switches
Auto Car Care Center has qualified service professionals waiting to help you! We can replace faulty wiring and switches on your vehicle. For all of your electrical needs don't hesitate to contact us or stop by our shop.

How Your Vehicle's Electrical System Works

Your vehicle's electrical system is responsible for starting the engine, charging the battery, and supplying power to the many electrical components used every day. Rather than relying on a single part, the system consists of several components that work together to deliver reliable electrical power throughout the vehicle.

In most fleet vehicles, the electrical system operates in the following sequence:

  • Battery: Stores electrical energy and provides the power needed to start the engine.
  • Starter: Uses battery power to crank the engine during startup.
  • Engine: Once the engine starts, it powers the alternator.
  • Alternator: Recharges the battery while supplying electricity to the vehicle's electrical systems.
  • Electrical System: Powers components such as lighting, ignition, safety systems, accessories, and onboard electronics while the vehicle is running.

Because these components depend on one another, a problem with the battery, starter, alternator, wiring, or electrical connections can affect the performance of the entire system. Routine inspections and prompt repairs can help identify issues early, reducing the risk of unexpected breakdowns and keeping fleet vehicles operating reliably.

Electrical Components We Inspect

Your vehicle's electrical system is made up of many interconnected components that work together to start the engine, power onboard systems, and keep your fleet operating reliably. Because an issue with one component can affect others, a thorough electrical inspection evaluates the system as a whole to identify developing problems before they result in unexpected downtime.

During an electrical system inspection, technicians may examine:

  • Batteries
  • Battery cables and terminals
  • Alternators
  • Starters
  • Wiring and electrical connections
  • Switches
  • Fuses
  • Circuit breakers
  • Interior and exterior lighting
  • Spark plugs (gasoline-powered fleet vehicles)
  • Relays
  • Charging system connections

Regular electrical inspections can help identify worn, damaged, or failing components before they lead to starting problems, charging issues, or electrical system failures. Addressing these concerns early helps improve vehicle reliability and reduces the risk of unexpected interruptions to your fleet's operation.

We have established longterm and stable partnerships with various clients thanks to our excellence in solving their automotive needs!

My 2003 Saturn Vue was towed to this shop on July 22, 2025 with a red engine light on. Another shop who had done a lot of expensive work on my vehicle for the last couple of years refused to work on it because he thought it needed a new CVT transmission. I didn't know anything about Auto Car Care Center's shop, but after speaking to Jeff, the owner, on the phone prior to the tow, I felt he could handle the problem. Jeff worked on my vehicle with the true knowledge of a Saturn's components the other shop never showed me even though they touted being Saturn specialists. Jeff, by far, is a true Saturn specialist. With his determination, he fixed my transmission issue by installing a remanufactured valve body. While there, he noticed a hesitation when starting the vehicle, and then he recommended a new fuel pump and seal. I finally got the call that my vehicle was ready to take on the world. No problems since I left that shop! I cannot recommend this shop enough! After personally owning and operating a classic vehicle restoration shop for 35 years, I can attest that Jeff operates his shop with honesty, a high level of professionalism, a vast auto parts knowledge and always keeps the cost of the job down for the customer. He saved me over $2500. from having to buy a remanufactured CVT transmission and labor installation cost! quotes-image
